We combine deep tissue massage, swedish massage, and facilitated stretching techniques into an integrative massage to target commonly tight and restricted areas in your body. Each massage can be customized to your needs!
What to wear: Men will typically wear athletic shorts and go shirtless. Women will wear a sports bra and athletic shorts. Sports massages involve more stretching and movement than traditional massage!

Are you in pain or recovering from an injury?
For targeted care focusing on areas of pain (neck pain, back pain etc.) a medical massage may be a better alternative to sports massage.

MEDICAL MASSAGE40 MIN ($140)Injury specific massages are designed to cut to the chase. When you have an injury or specific pain you are trying to address, we focus on manual techniques to promote recovery care. We use deep tissue massage, myofascial cupping, trigger point massage therapy, red light therapy, electric stim (NMES), instrument assisted soft tissue tools (IASTM).
Class IV Laser Therapy is now included in medical massage at no extra charge! What to wear: We will need access to the skin at the site of the injury, above it, and below it. A good rule of thumb for men: wear athletic shorts and you may remove your shirt if necessary. For women: a sports bra and athletic shorts.

prenatal massage
50 min ($115), 1HR 20min ($165)Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. Pregnancy massage can improve sleep quality, lower stress and anxiety levels, alleviates muscle cramps and joint pain, and lessens the swelling of joints.
What to wear: Prenatal Massage is traditionally draped. Come wearing your daily clothes and dress down to your comfort level on the table

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY MASSAGE?
Our different massage services have different dress requirements. If you are coming for a Swedish or Prenatal Massage you may come dressed in your daily attire and dress down on the table to your comfort level. You will be traditionally draped. For Sports and Medical Massages, most men will wear athletic shorts and no shirt or a loose fitting shirt or tank top. Most women will wear athletic shorts and a sports bra or loose fitting tank top. We want you to feel comfortable, so dress down to your comfort level and your therapist will be able to work around or through the clothing as needed. We can always honor traditional draping for these massage types at your request.
WHY ARE SPORTS AND MEDICAL MASSAGE CLOTHED AT MILESTONES?
Sports Massage and Medical Massage at Milestones is clothed in order to allow for stretching, movement, and variable positions through out your massage. If you are receiving a medical massage, you will have an assessment of range of motion and you may be asked to get on and off the table to re-evaluate these perameters through out your appointment.
WILL IT HURT?
Many massage techniques will elicit sensation in the body, this is totally normal! Our therapists will work with you to provide a pressure that feels comfortable to you.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
We do not work directly with insurance companies. Many of our clients have success submitting a bill to their insurance for reimbursement. However, we would recommend confirming this as an option with your insurance company first because some insurance will not cover massage therapy.
CAN I USE AN HSA TO PAY FOR MY SERVICES?
Yes! Just use your HSA card to pay at checkout.
